I had bad experience of getting deep </span><span style="font-family:arial;">scratch in its body by one the three wheelers rear wheel covers. On</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">careful observation, I found that they had steel angle bars which were </span><span style="font-family:arial;">quite sharp protuding out from side of the body. In fact, I found that</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">this is there on almost all of the three-wheelers in Delhi.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">For safety reasons, the world wide trend is to put rubber/ plastic parts </span><span style="font-family:arial;">which gets deformed upon impact. This reduces the damage done during</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">accidents. All new cars have plastic bumpers now a days for this reason. </span><span style="font-family:arial;">Unfortunately, it seems that Delhi Transport Department is ignorant about</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">this protuding metallic bars for the best reasons known to them.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">The transport department should monitor this and challan the vhicles </span><span style="font-family:arial;">having such protusions. In fact I have not seen so far any three-wheelers</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">without such protusion in last one week.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Transport department should take cognizance and take strict actions for </span><span style="font-family:arial;">removal of such protusion which might be lethal for anybody involved in</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">contact with such vhicles.
